Obituary of David E. Robinson

David E. Robinson, of Duxbury died on March 28, 2008, after a short illness at the MA General Hospital. He was 63 years old. David was born in Lawrence, and raised in Melrose. He is a graduate of Melrose high School. Following his graduation from High School David entered into the U.S. Navy and served for four years on a carrier. David went on to attend, and graduate from Boston University in 1972. David has most recently been employed as a sales representative for Accurate Fasteners in South Boston. David was a member of the Masons as well as a Shriner. He was a Special Olympics coach at the Cardinal Cushing Centers. He loved the outdoors, biking, traveling, vacationing on the Cape, gardening, sailing, and his dog Bailey. He loved life, adventure, and lived his life to the fullest, but the greatest love of his life was his family. He is survived by his wife of 34 years Jean B. Robinson. Loving Father of Scot Robinson of Kingston and Sarah Robinson of San Diego, CA. Beloved Son of Alfred and Ruth (Emerson) Robinson of Brewster. Brother of Sally Ford of CT. Brother in law to Gail Sherry and her husband John Sherry. Also survived by 3 Nieces & 1 Nephew. A memorial service will be held at the Pilgrim Congregational Church, 404 Washington St, Duxbury, on Monday, March 31st at 1:00 PM.
