Dear Morna,
Libby called me last night with news of Doug's passing. As you may know he was my idol during
boyhood and early adolescence. While I shall make an effort to get to Plymouth it is uncertain at this point as Kathy is still working (at our age)
as a tour guide for Milne Travel and will be out late the night before.
Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you.
What I had not remembered correctly was that Doug was only 9 years older than me. I guess that poor
memory on my part is due to the gap of these many years.
