Obituary of Estelle Hutchinson

Estelle Hutchinson, of Duxbury, and Marshfield, died on November 24, 2008. She was 98 years old. Estelle was raised, and educated in Quincy. She married Arthur Robert Sr. on June 29, 1935, and they moved to Duxbury in 1938. Estelle was involved in the Webster Grange. She was a long time member of the High St. United Methodist Church in Pembroke, where she served as organist, and Choir Director. She was an honorary life member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She was also actively involved with the Duxbury Senior Center. She has lived at Tea Rock Gardens in Marshfield for over 20 years. Wife of the late Arthur Robert Sr. Loving Mother of Jean L. Sherman of Plymouth, A. Robert Jr. of Ocala, FL, Ruth A. Bumpus of Brockton, and Betty Allen and her husband John of E. Taunton. Grandmother of 9, great grandmother of 17, and great great grandmother of 3. Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, November 30th from 2-5:00PM at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 7 Mattakeesett St. (Rt. 14) Pembroke. A funeral service will be held at High Street United Methodist, 298 High St, Duxbury, on Monday December 1st at 11:00 AM. Burial will be at the Mayflower Cemetery in Duxbury.
