Thinking of all of you. Liz will be greatly missed. Not only did she cut my hair beautifully for 30 years, but she was a dear friend. She had a heart of gold.

Dear Scott,
One of life’s deepest sorrows is the loss of a beloved parent. No words can fill that void; no poetry can lure the heart from its solitary remembrance. But in remembering, take some solace in the chapters of your life that your Mom shaped and celebrated.
She watched you struggle and blossom through all of childhood’s challenges; she saw you grow into an intelligent, introspective, and compassionate young man. Precious few of life’s miracles are greater than that one. Your Mom not only had a front row seat for your extraordinary transformation—she fulfilled its most necessary role. Whatever else she may have succeeded in or failed at, she could always think of you and say, “He is my son; and he is a truly wonderful human being.”
No power in creation—neither in life nor in death—can ever take that single, self-evident truth away from her soul.
With love and respect,
Rick, Laine, and Gabriel Tulipano

My condolences to Liz's family. I remember Liz as a lively, colorful woman. As a young girl who lived nearby, I often spent a lot of time at the Clipper Ship visiting and sweeping up hair for Liz. It was my first "job". She always had a smile and a kind word for a little girl who thought the barber shop was a very neat place to work.
