Obituary of Wayne J. Stevens

Wayne J. Stevens (56) of East Sandwich, died suddenly at home on January 2nd 2009. He is survived by his loving family, mother Marian Stevens of Portland, ME, daughter Carolyn of Park City, UT, son John Eric of Manchester - by - the Sea, MA life companion Susan Coombs and her children, of Cedarville, MA. He is also survived by brother Kenneth and his wife Mary Joan, as well as their children of Kingston, MA; sister Jennifer Angelone and husband Michael, of Portland, ME, and sister Sarah Lawrence and husband Scott of Gorham, ME. Born in New Haven, CT May 27, 1952 to Wilbur and Marian Nanfeldt. The Family relocated to Hingham, MA where Wayne attended High school and went on to Northeastern University in Boston graduating with a BA in Business and Economics. Wayne went on to earn an MBA at Suffolk University. A self employed corporate recruiter for 28 years, Wayne enjoyed professional car racing with his Porsche Club of America colleagues, landscaping and gardening, and spending time at the ocean and beach. A celebration of Wayne’s life will be held by the family at the Stevens family home, 27 Fish House Rd. East Sandwich, beginning at 1pm Saturday January 10th 2009.
