Obituary of Frances L. Ashby

Frances L. Ashby, of Carver, and formerly of Mashpee and Somerville, died peacefully on February 20, 2009. She was 92 years old. Beloved wife of the late Sheldon Ashby. Loving mother of Charles Ashby of Quincy, and Pamela Santino of Carver. Sister of the late Muriel Pontifex. Cherished grandmother of Scott Santino of Raymond, NH, and Sara Santino of Rumford, RI. Great grandmother of Gavin and Ryan Santino. A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, February 24th at 9:00 AM at Our Lady of the Lourdes Church in Carver. Internment will be at the MA National Cemetery in Bourne. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to: St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN, 38105.
