Obituary of Charles P. Jones

Charles P. Jones Sr. of Carver, died on February 24, 2009. He was 89 years old. Mr. Jones is a retired teacher, and worked in the Holbrook school system. He served in the United States Army, and is a veteran of World War II. Mr. Jones was active with the Boy Scouts of America. He enjoyed woodworking, gardening, and spending time with his family at his home. Husband of the late Marion L. Jones. Father of Charles Jones Jr. of Carver, and Linell of Rehoboth. Brother of Stephen Jones of NH, and Rick Jones of Seattle, WA. Grandfather of 6, and great grandfather of 1. An hour of visitation will be held on Friday, February 27th from 3-4:00 PM with a service set to begin at 4:00 PM, at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 116 Main St. (Rt. 58) Carver. Burial will be private.
