Obituary of Raymond F. Dowling

Raymond F. Dowling, of Pembroke, April 9, 2009. He was 72 years old. Mr. Dowling is a graduate of Boston Latin, and Umass Amherst. He was a member of the Boston Plumbers Union Local 12, and was a longtime employee of both the P.J. Riley Co., and the Boston Edison Co. He enjoyed spending time with his family, his family farm, his animals, and the camaraderie of hunting camp. Beloved husband of Michelle Dowling. Loving father of Kathleen Allen of Plymouth, Ray Dowling of Alpharetta, GA, Michael Dowling of Hoboken, NJ, and Bonnie-Jean Dowling of Ashburnham. Cherished grandfather of 7, and survived by 1 great granddaughter. Also survived by many friends. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, April 14th from 4-8:00 PM at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 7 Mattakeesett St. (Rt. 14) Pembroke. A funeral mass will be held at St. Joseph the Worker, 1 Maquan St. Hanson, on Wednesday, April 15th at 10:00 AM. Internment will be at the Center cemetery in Pembroke.
