Growing up in Marshfield and being an active member of the Assumption Church parish, I was very familiar with Father Dudink. When you met him, his kindness and capacity for compassion were striking. His words were always filled with kindness and sincerity. I will never forget those Sunday mornings spent listening to Father Dudink's words. What made him so special is that he did not simply speak to the parish about values and morals, he was a living model of those values and morals. He will be missed but his mark on the thousands who knew him is indelible. May he rest in peace as we cherish the gift he gave us.
