I cannot believe she is gone, but as the saying goes, "only the good die young" and she certainly was one of God's special people. I worked with Lyn at Pixley and organized an in- house Christmas Party for first shift there a year ago knowing it would be the last Pixley Christmas for a lot of us. It was a wonderful celebration with lots of smils, continuous raffles, and all kinds of Christmas Spirit and great food in the Cafe. Even though none of us were certain of the future with the bad economy situation and the job cuts, Lyn remained a tower of strength and an excellent example for all of us there even though she was suffering terribly. She'd say "Hey Girly" to me and I would give her a very gentle kiss on the cheek and she would smile brightly through all the pain on the days that she could make it until 2 or 3 p.m. When Brian W. pulled her name for the first prize raffle basket and I called her into his office, she was shocked saying she never wins anything. It was meant to be. So long, brave heart, you will be missed. Mike, Ian and Heather, my sincere condolences. I moved to PA in August of this year and did not find out about your loss until the day before Thanksgiving when I came to the area for the Holiday. I am heartbroken. I would have come a few days earlier if I had known so I could attend the service and be there for you in person, but no one contacted me. May all the wonderful memories of your wife & mother help you through these sad times. God Bless.

My condolences to Lyn's family. I know exactly what you are going through and my thoughts and prayers are with you. She is now at peace. She was a very special person and we need more people like her in this world. Lyn...you will be missed but never forgotten.
Love, Deb

We just want to say how sorry we are to hear of Lyn's passing. We are shocked and saddened. We will always remember Lyn as a devoted mother and wife. We have fond memories of her at the little league field watching Ian play and cheering him on. It has been quite a few years since then and we had fallen out of touch but she will never be forgotten. Our prayers are with you.

Words cannot express the sadness and lonliness I feel at losing Lyn. My heart goes out to Michael, Ian and Heather. Her and I both suffered through this horible disease together. We shared many long talks of how we felt about everything we were going through and how much pain we were in and how scared we were that it would take us before our time was really done. I feel so guilty that she has been taken and here I sit without her. I loved her. We had a NASCAR rival going on for years until Dale Jarret retired...she did not like Tony Stewart, (my guy) and we had many great times talking track.
I wil never forget Lyn, her laugh, her sense of humor and her compassion for me while she was going through the same thing. She's free of pain now and I hope one day to find comfort in that.
Goodbye Lyn, until my time is done and I get to the finish line, hope you'll be there waving the checkered flag for me. Love Nancy
