Obituary of Clare M. Vendetti

Clare M. Vendetti of Carver died on Thursday, January 7, 2010 at the Golden Living Center in Plymouth. She was 99 years old. The last of four siblings, Mrs. Vendetti was born in Boston. Her family later settled in Franklin where she graduated from Franklin High School in 1928. In Franklin she met and married Anthony M. Vendetti. A long time employee of Filenes, Mrs. Vendetti was also a superb homemaker with a variety of interests that included art, antiques, and opera. She was a self taught artist who locally exhibited the New England scenes that she loved. Mrs Vendetti leaves two sons: William of Wareham and Thomas of Kingston as well as three granddaughters: Lisa Davis of Franklin, Angelica Dombrowski of Plymouth, and Sarah Vendetti of Weymouth. She also leaves four great grandchildren. A memorial mass will be held at St. Joseph’s church, 270 Main St. (Rt. 106) Kingston on Saturday, January 16th at 10:00AM.
