Ramona,Donna,Eddie, Suzie and Mary Almeida,
I was so sorry to learn of your loss of Lisa. I only found out today since we have been so out of contact over the years. Your family is so dear to me and I fondly remember growing up with you all. Lisa as a child was so cute and sweet. I never got to know her as an adult but I'm sure that sweetness remained with her.
May Jehovah sustain you during your loss and I look forward as I know you will to see her again in the resurrection.
Agape Love,
Barbara

Dear Almeida Family,
I was so sorry to hear this news! Lisa was one of my best friends in high school! She was the most positive person I knew. We always had so much fun together! I am sorry that we lost touch a few years after high school. I have always thought of her over the years and when I would drive by her family home in Carver I would wonder how she was. After reading her other condolences I am so moved to know that she had so many people over the whole world that had been touched by her and loved her. She was a beautiful person and will be missed greatly but now she is in a wonderful place with the Lord! That is heart warming!
Peace and blessings to you all!

To my very first best friend Lisa. "The dead are in the safest place imaginable, like a baby safely protected in it's mothers womb. Our loved ones are safely protected in Jehovah's memory. We all anxiously await the day, when Jehovah awakens our loved ones and returns them back to us." (WT article) Until then my dear friend, I will keep working hard so that I will be in line with the many others to welcome you back and continue our life long friendship! Love Carla

Dearest Family of Lisa Almeida,
I join with so many others who knew lisa in offering our deepest sympathy on her passing. Although it is little consolation at this sad time.
The measure of a life well-lived is not in how much money one has or what possessions they have accumulated, but rather through the lives they touched and the sorrow they leave behind. If the outpouring of sympathy on her loss is any indication, and it most certainly is, you can proudly and confidently say that hers indeed was a life well-lived.
May you find peace and comfort in knowing that her loss is felt by all who knew and loved her.it is best to remember our hope in JOHN 5.28,29

I met Lisa in 1995 while working with her at our firm in the city. Her department worked with my dept on a case. For months I worked closely with her. How happy I was when she actually joined my own department years later and we eventually had offices next door to each other. Lisa helped to revamp our little department and it was wonderful to work with her. Her work ethic was incredible. I can tell you that I also found her to be a wonderful friend. When I left Skadden over a year ago, she was one of the people I missed most. She was such a joyful person - we had so much fun working together (shared alot of laughs) and shared alot of support with one another. It is unbelievable and very hard for me to imagine this world without Lisa walking around in it. She really lived her life courageously and enjoyed it - while being an unending support to so many people with her huge, kind, loving and generous heart. She was much beloved by her NYC friends as I am positive by her family and countless others. I like to think of Lis keeping an eyeball on us all, with that lovely, joyous spirt. Lis - you and I used to have a quote we would remind each other of at work - to keep our priorities in check when we would get overwhelmed: "Who do you give the best part of yourself to?" I would like to think Lisa gave it to those around her and I am thankful I was one of those recipients. Truly, she is an exceptional human being. Lisa I will miss you dearly and will always keep you in my heart. To the Almeida family - my prayers and thoughts are with you.

To Lisa's family:
We share your pain and grief at this very difficult time. Lisa stayed with us on her visit to Trinidad with Harege about 15 years ago. Our family warmed to her immediately - she was vivacious, light hearted, and very caring.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all, especially her mom, Mary, and her siblings. May Jehovah's grand resurrection hope comfort your hearts and ease the pain! How we long to see Lisa again, especially the delightful sparkle in her eyes. We pray as did Job:
"If an able-bodied man dies can he live again? All the days of my compulsory service I shall wait, until my relief comes. You will call, and I myself shall anwer you. For the work of your hands you will have a yearning." Job 14:13,14

Dearest Mary and Family,
I am so sorry for the loss of such a beautiful and loving sister in the truth! Lisa was like a cousin to me as well as the whole family. What I will miss most, as many others, will be Lisa's dynamic smile. We laughed everytime we saw one another. She always made a person feel welcomed. I can't wait to see her and my mother Macky again in the new system. Love to all and may Jehovah bless you with fond memories. Gayle

My prayers are with you all. I was not that close to Lisa - however she won my son Kevin's heart over, when he went to visit her in New York. She would then call & check up on him through the years. He say's he will always remember her by her smile. He graduate this year & will be attending Fisher College - he could not wait to invite her to his graduation. I also, know Lisa was like a sister to both Louie & Billy. I am glad she has the hope of the ressurection. I will remember her smile as well. Prayers will remain with family today and in the months to come.
