Obituary of Robert R. McLaughlin

Robert Richard McLaughlin (Bob), of Carver, January 14, 1949 - April 13, 2010. Loving Husband to Linda L. McLaughlin (Hebert). Devoted Father to Kerry Ann Cragin (McLaughlin) and Robert Richard McLaughlin II. Fun Loving Grandfather to Kassidey Star Cragin and Nirvana Storm Cragin. Son of Late Robert J. and Lucy McLaughlin (Salerno) Sibling of Rosemary (Shires), James, Richard, Paul, John and Michael McLaughlin Great uncle to numerous nieces and nephews and loving friend to so many . Robert was an accomplished and talented man who loved to play his guitar, sing, ride his Harley to the ocean, and to be surrounded by the ones he loved. An avid sailor and extremely artistic craftsman., he served the United States Navy and graduated from the University of Maine. He proudly worked as a Union Carpenter for 29 years. He will be sincerely missed! Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, April 18th from 2-6:00PM at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 116 Main St (Rt. 58) Carver. A graveside service will be held at the MA National Cemetery in Bourne on Monday, April 19th at 11:15AM.
