John Norman Mulready, 76, of Halifax, MA died August 20, 2010 after a long illness. He honorably retired from the Army National Guard after over 32 years of service. John was very active with the community and church. He is survived by his wife, of 53 years, Lee (Bryant) and by his sons, John wife Gail, children Jenna and Sean of Carver; Glen wife Sally, children Sam, John (Jake) and Will of Tulsa OK; Bryan wife Sandra, children Jared and Connor of Bellingham. Daughters, Deb husband Bob, children Shauna and Julia Kilroy of Upton; Lee, husband F. Brent and son John (Alex) Glasgow of Olive Branch MS, Susan, husband Brian children Erin, Caitlyn and Brendan Carberry of Plymouth; and Diane Mulready of Canton. He is preceded in death by his parents Edwin and Florence (Butler) three grandchildren, Caroline, Daniel and Michael as well as siblings Francis, Edwin, Alice and Mary. Visiting hours will be held at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 216 Main St (Rt. 106) in Kingston, on Tuesday from 4-8:00 PM. The funeral service will be held Wednesday 10:00 AM at Our Lady of the Lake Church in Halifax. Donations can be made to the Hospice Services of Massachusetts.
