Obituary of Jeffrey R. Murphy

Jeffrey R. Murphy, of Carver, and formerly of Dorchester, died suddenly on November 23, 2010. He was 75 years old. Mr. Murphy was a member of the Knights of Columbus, the Lions Club, and was an employee for Poloroid for 38 years. Beloved husband of 47 years to Roberta Murphy. Husband of the late Jean Murphy. Loving father of Donald Murphy of Fairhaven, Thomas Murphy of Carver, Noreen Obin of Plymouth, Jeffrey Murphy of Carver, Roberta Leaden and her husband Thomas of Plymouth, Stephen Murphy and his wife Michelle of Carver, Frederick Murphy and Dineen of Middleboro, Andrew Murphy of Carver, and the late Michael Murphy and his wife Kimberlee of Plymouth. Brother of Eileen Doherty of Roslindale, and the late Thomas Murphy. Cherished grandfather of 13. Visiting hours will be held on Monday, November 29th from 4-8:00 PM at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 116 Main St (Rt. 58) Carver. A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, November 30th at Our Lady of Lourdes, 130 Main St, Carver at 10:00AM. Internment will be at the Union cemetery in Carver.
