Obituary of Nicholas A. Azzolino

Nicholas Azzolino, 59, of Carver, passed away December 14, 2010 peacefully while surrounded by his family, after a long illness at Tufts Medical Center. He was the beloved husband, and best friend to his wife of 35 years, Ginny. Devoted father to Nicole Disa and her husband Michael of Pembroke, Joseph Azzolino, and Angela Testa and her husband Michael of Norton. He was cherished “Poppie” to Nicolas, Joshua, and Ava Grace Disa, and Nathan Testa. Nick also leaves behind his much loved and special sister Rose Jones of Carver, brothers Frank Azzolino of Acton, and Joseph Azzolino of Littleton, as well as many nieces, nephews, and great nieces, and nephews. Nick was the owner of Higher Resolutions in Carver, as well as co-owner with his wife of Kidstop Early Childhood Center in Carver. Nick was very involved in Carver town and high school sports as a coach and mentor, and will be forever missed by his family and friends. Visiting hours will be held on Friday, December 17th from 3-7:00 PM at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 116 Main St (Rt. 58) Carver. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 18th at the Shepherd Funeral Home at 11:00AM. Internment will be private.
