Obituary of James H.A. Crowell

James H.A Crowell, of Kingston passed away on November 8, 2018 at the age of 94. Born on July 14, 1924. He grew up in Plymouth (Manomet) and graduated from Plymouth High School. At age 19 he enlisted in the Army Air Corps during WWII, where he became a waistgunner and completed 47 missions. 
For almost 60 years he was the beloved husband of the late Josephine (Finney) Crowell. He was the cherished father of Stephen Crowell, Jane Braddock, Nancy Dias, Mary McNeil and the late Jimmie Crowell. He was also the loving grandfather to Phillip and Allison Crowell, Eric Cecil, the late Faith Braddock, Emily Lynch, Elizabeth Hudson, James Dias and Michael, Kyle and Sean McNeil. Jim was especially proud of his 12 great-grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by his loving family and friends. 
Memorial Visiting Hours will be held at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 216 Main St. (Rte 106) Kingston on Sunday, November 18, from 1:00 to 5:00PM. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 4:00PM at the Shepherd Funeral Home. Burial Services will be held on Monday, November 19, at the Massachusetts National Cemetery at 11:00AM.
