Obituary of Virginia C. Cordingley

Virginia C. Cordingley, 84, of Hanson formerly of Weymouth, passed away on December 29, 2018. Beloved wife of Richard P. Cordingley. Loving mother to Robert Cordingley and his wife Nancy of Whitman, Diane Cordingley and her husband Ronald Perez of Los Angeles, CA, Christopher Cordingley and his wife Cynthia of Kingston, and Denise Bunszell and her husband Gary of Hanson. Daughter of the late Charles and Florence (Perreault) Mulcahy. Sister to Jane Lancto of VA, and Joyce Melillo of Adams, MA. Cherished grandmother of eight. Virginia is also survived by many nieces and nephews, as well as her extended family and friends. 

Virginia is a retired Registered  Nurse. Her great loves were her grandchildren, reading mystery novels, and spending summers at Ellis Haven in Plymouth with her husband of 60 years.

A funeral mass will be held on Thursday, January 3rd at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph Church, 272 Main St (Rt. 106) Kingston. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to: American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org.
