Lee and Family
I had the pleasure of meeting Tom with Bill in Myrtle Beach. We had a wonderful time both on and off the golf course. Our paths crossed again in Marshfield when I was AD. Tom used to do the color for WATD during football season. I also had the pleasure working with young Tom at Marshfield HS. His love for his family was evident every time I spoke with him.
My condolences to the family on your loss. May the fond memories of Tom help you during this difficult time.

My friendship with Tom dates back 40 years as our sons played ball together in Little League. Mr. D, as the kids called him, was not only a devoted coach, but a father who genuinely was interested in guiding each kid to have a sense of competitiveness but more importantly a sense of respectfulness, fairness, teamwork, and sportsmanship. He was truly proud of having a positive impact on so many kids regardless of their athletic skills.
After all of our years together, my fondest memory will be of the unparalleled courage he displayed in fighting his cancer. He never gave up and did his very best to spare his family of the pain he was enduring. He will always be my dear friend and I will be committed to honoring his life with positivity, love for Lee and the boys and their families, and a brotherly love for Tom! Rest in peace, dear friend!

To Lee and the family,
How is it possible to describe the sadness felt from losing someone as special as Tom. As a colleague, but most importantly as a friend, for over 15 years, I have had the pleasure and honor to see "business" Tom and "social" Tom going through all that came naturally to him. I never met a man with more honesty and integrity. The trust created through our encounters, along with his extensive business experience, allowed me to consider him a mentor, a "go to guy" who empowered me, the novice, and instill in me the confidence to navigate the convoluted world of healthcare. What "business" Tom didn't bring to the table "social" Tom added. There is no person more positive and optimistic than Tom was. His attitude was always constructive, encouraging and enthusiastic no matter what far reaching ideas or strategies I came up with. To Tom there was never a bad idea only an idea needing some gentle tweaking.
I thank God for the opportunity to have met and shared time with Tom and will always remember him. Please accept my deepest condolences on your loss.
Rest in Peace my friend.
