Obituary of Richard Bradford Glass

Richard Bradford Glass, 55, of Wareham, MA, passed away on Sunday, March 31, 2019 in Plymouth, MA surrounded by family and friends.  

A graveside service followed by interment of ashes will be held at Mayflower Cemetery, Duxbury, on Saturday, April 6, at 10:30 am.  

Richard was born in Plymouth, MA to Richard D. and Greta E. (Glass) on February 7, 1964.  He attended Upper Cape Cod Regional Vocational Technical High School and graduated from the Marine Services Shop in 1982.  Richard served for several years in both the Wareham and Marion police departments.  He was the facilities director for New Bedford High School and a Marine Services Teacher at Upper Cape Technical High School.  He loved a day out on the water, celebrating his Irish heritage, and most of all, every moment he spent with his girls.  

Richard is father to Erin and Riley of West Wareham, step-father to Katelyn Jordan of Wareham and Kevin Jordan of Carver, Bumpo to Cody, Callie, and Jade, son to Greta Glass of Wareham, brother to Lisa Thibodeau of North Carolina, Kerry Glass of Hanson, and Tammie Glass of Buzzards Bay,  uncle to Buzzy Thibodeau, Bonnie West, Kaity Crowley, Meghan Glass, Sean Glass, Trinity Thibodeau, and Evelyn West.  Richard is lifelong friend to Donald Bliss, Keith Evans, and Scott Masterson.  He was preceded in death by his father Richard D. Glass and his niece Terri Nicole Thibodeau.
