Obituary of Grace L. Heinonen

Grace L. Heinonen, 76, lifetime resident of Plympton, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, July 16, 2019. Grace was born on August 18, 1942 in Middleboro, MA. She graduated from Silver Lake High School In 1960 and married her husband Alan Heinonen In 1974. Grace worked her entire career in the insurance industry, most recently at Borhek Insurance. Grace was a member of the Plympton Garden Club and the Plympton Historical Society. She loved cats, birdwatching, and yard sales.

Grace was preceded in death by her parents Charles and Grace (Peck) Curtiss; her husband Alan; her sister Lulu ; and two brothers John and Charles. She is survived by her brother Bob and his wife Lee, of VT; her sister-in law Cindy of Arizona; nieces and nephews in Missouri and Arizona; and many lifelong friends. 
The family extends endless gratitude to devoted caregivers Christine, Lyn and Kathy as well as the wonderful support of Cranberry Hospice. In Lieu of flowers donations are gratefully accepted to Cranberry Hospice or Plympton Town Library. 

Visiting Hours will be held at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 216 Main St, Kingston on Monday, July 22 from 5:00 to 7:00PM. A graveside service will be held at the Hillcrest Cemetery, Plympton on Tuesday, July 23, at 2:00PM.
