Obituary of Mark B. Hochgesang

Mark B. Hochgesang, 72, of Duxbury, husband of Gail Flynn Hochgesang, lost his brave three year battle with cancer on October 28, 2019. Born, November 22, 1946 in Moorestown, NJ and came to Massachusetts to attend Tufts University (‘68). He then received his MBA from Boston University (‘70), where he went on to work for State Street Bank, The Boston Company, and finally, Bank of New York before retiring back to Duxbury to trade stocks.
Mark is also survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Guy and Joyce Hochgesang of Somers, NY, daughter and son-in-law, Pam and Rob Hatch of Pembroke, son, Scott DeNicola of Kingston, grandchildren: Marine LCpl Preston Hatch of Pembroke, Avery Hatch of Los Angeles, Taylor DeNicola of Plymouth, and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at Shepherd Funeral Home in Kingston: Visitng hours will be held on Monday, November 4, 2019 from 5-7pm and a Graveside Service, Tuesday, 11:00 am.
In lieu of flowers, gifts made be made to either the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in memory of Mark B Hochgesang, to support the Dana-Farber/BWCC at South Shore Hospital Clinic.
