On your first family trip to England in the 1960's - we were with you all in London (one of my dad's famous Guided Tours) and it was at the end of the day. We were at Leicester Square Underground Station, waiting for a train to go back to South Harrow. As we walked along the platform your mum saw a 'down and out', slumped on a seat. She promptly walked unto him and started to sing "Don't sleep in the subway, darling. Don't stand in the pouring rain". Her beautiful voice touched many hearts and that night, one lonely man who was down on his luck, felt loved.

Very delightful memories of Dorothy and her family for many, many years! She will be missed by all who knew her! In tribute, we are going to take a nice walk this afternoon in our Middleboro neighborhood.

I lived next door to Dot for many years in Plympton. She inspired me to walk as I watched walk around our two mile loop. I still walk today because of her. A lasting legacy.

Our hearts go out to all of you. She was a lovely lady with a sweet smile and everyone felt that vibe when in her presence. It was crystal clear she adored her family! My memory is the mutual admiration we had for one another because after all we shared the same June 2 birthday. We complemented each other since of course only very special people share that particular birthday! It was a secret mutual admiration little club we formed lol. For whatever you may be dealing with in life please remember to keep smiling and keep looking after your family just as she did. Love to all, the Russell family This verse is a tribute to Dottie
