It's been a little over two weeks now and it still doesn't seem real. My heart hurts and is broken for you three handsome, kind and strong sons. I will spend the rest of my life helping them in any way I can. I will love them and make sure they become great men. They truly are your greatest work. Give mama and Scott hugs and kisses from me. I love you Shawn! Peace out big brother.

My sincere condolences to Shawn's entire family.
I am so incredibly sorry to learn of his passing. We had an opportunity to re-connect last year and swap some great stories from our high-school days. Way too many bike rides between Country Way and Brandeis Circle to count (we used to say, if only there was a bridge across Silver Lake, to make is a faster trip). We talked about our children's sports, his brother Scott, and my best friend, Michelle. As well as how life can be crazy and challenging but also amazing at times. I looked forward to his snarky/smart ass responses, and like to think i returned them in kind (I'm sure he thought my replies were weak, at best). I hope his heart is all healed, and he is resting peacefully.

Great person. Heart like a giant. Made friends and connected with so many folks so quickly. Quick whit and would always go with the flow. Many memories growing up playing baseball, street hockey, and pickup football games. Great getting to reconnect with him much deeper the last 6 months. Many discussions about Scott, Mr Fleming, Monty, Country Way. He had an amazing memory for Silver Lake stories and Where are they now knowledge. Really enjoyed having him at Colonial Saw. He was doing a great job, very reliable and as you'd expect was well liked by his co-workers....even the Yankees fan he had to sit next to.

Shawn was a genuine man and friend. My heart goes out to his family and friends. I played softball with Shawn in the Pembroke and Hanson mens leagues. He was a great teammate and friend! He was always an excellent player. Fun and positive to be around. Weather it was a clutch hit or a funny joke in the dugout, Shawn was always a favorite! I was always amazed by his love and devotion to his children and his family! Gone way too soon but never forgotten! Shawn will be missed by so many! Rest in peace my friend.
