Carl was an Exceptional Human Being! He taught me a lot more about firearms than I ever thought I knew! I can remember the indoor range at old station! After a few rounds the room was like dense fog, very poor ventilation! Carl said, If you hit your target right the first time we might be able to see in front of us! lol Ahhhhh all the M80’s or worse that want off between station & Langs garage! I’m very sorry to hear of Carl’s passing, he was such a great man! God Bless, Michael Frates

Carl “Lt. “ was my supervisor from 1986-1999.
I want all his family and friends to know that Carl was the definition of a Police Officer! He was smart, kind, fair, honest, compassionate, yet firm and all of this was wrapped up with laughter!
Coming in for a 4-12 shift and seeing Carl on the “desk” as Watch Commander meant that it was going to be a great, safe and fun shift. A shift with perhaps a few surprises? One never knew with Carl? He kept us going through all the danger and the grief with his smile and sense of humor.
Carl will NEVER be forgotten by all of his brother’s and sister’s on the Weymouth P. D. He was our Lieutenant, our Brother and our Friend!
God bless you Lt. You will be missed but never forgotten!
Retired Weymouth Police Patrolman Marc “The Shark” Trudeau
