Obituary of Daniel A. Murphy

Daniel A. Murphy, 89 of Plympton MA, died Saturday November 7, 2020. He was the husband of Patricia Murphy. They were married for 50 years.Daniel was born July 4th 1931 in Boston, son of late William Murphy and Margaret Murphy.  

Daniel attended St Patrick's school. He owned and operated Hillcrest horse and carriage for over 20 years and did all the horse and carriage rides in downtown Plymouth. 

Daniel is survived by his wife, Patricia Murphy, his  5 sons Daniel Murphy and his wife Terri, late Scott Murphy, Timothy Murphy, Thomas Murphy, and Michael Murphy and his wife Elizabeth and his one daughter Janet Murphy. 

He is also survived by his grandchildren, Kerianne, Stephen, Ryan, Derek, Jay and his wife Jami, Joanne, Jacki and her husband Jim, Kate, Tristen, Kyle, Taylor, Scott, Erika, Emily, Michael, and the late Daniel. 

He is the great-grandfather of  Maisey, Charlie, Haleigh, Emily, Cameron, Morgan, Johnny. 

Visiting hours will be held at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 216 Main St, Kingston on Thursday, November 12, from 4:00 to 7:30PM. A prayer service will directly follow at the Shepherd Funeral Home at 7:30PM. 

 A graveside service will be held on Friday, November 13, at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Kingston at 10:00AM.
