Obituary of Gregory Brooker Kraft

Gregory Brooker Kraft, (Greg or GB) , 72, of Kingston, passed away on February 4, 2021. He is survived by his beloved wife Eleanor (Bergdoll) Kraft, of Kingston. He is also survived by his loving children, Eric Brooker Kraft, of Kingston, Lauren Marie Kraft, of Plymouth and Joseph Michael Kraft, of Plymouth. Greg was the devoted grandfather of Antonio Michael Gregory Artiano, Avery Grace Kraft and Calvin Michael Kraft. Greg is survived by his sister, Angela McLaughlin of West Roxbury and his brothers, Martin Kraft of Mansfield and Timothy Kraft of NH. He is also survived by his aunt, Loretta Keenan, of Quincy. He was the loving uncle to many nieces and nephews. Greg is also survived by many cousins. He was predeceased by his parents, the late John J. Kraft and Elizabeth Theresa (Donovan) Kraft. He is also predeceased by his son Michael Gregory Kraft. He is also preceded in death by his sisters, Joan Louise (Kraft) Verrill and Mary Owen (Kraft) Defuria. 

Greg attended Holy Name Grammar School and Boston Technical High School. In 1966 he joined the U.S Navy. In 1972 he began working  as a pipe fitter for Amtrak. In 1978 he became a member of the Kingston Fire Department. In 1988 he became a master electrician. Then in 2007 he started KFD Trucking Company and then retired in 2014. 

Visiting Hours will be held at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 216 Main St, Kingston on Monday, February 15, from 4:00 to 8:00PM. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 16, at the Shepherd Funeral Home at 10:00AM. Interment and military honors will directly follow at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.
