Obituary of Martha J. Smith

Martha J. Smith, 77, passed away on March 5, 2021. She was the beloved wife of William J. Smith, of Halifax, for 55 years. She is survived by her loving children, Sharon V. Smith and life partner, Joshua J. Masciulli of Carver and Jeffrey R. Smith and his wife Amber C. Smith of Carver. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Natalie G. and Bridget N. Smith of Carver. Martha is also survived by her brother Douglas S. Sharp and his wife Ellen of Lakeville and also many cousins, nieces and nephews. She was born in 1943 to her parents, the late Roy E. Sharp and Priscilla Standley Sharp of West Bridgewater. 

Martha was born in Stoughton and raised  in West Bridgewater. She is retired from the Town of Halifax Police Department. She was a member of Big Blue, a Good Sam camping club. She was also a member of Gems woman’s bowling league. She also loved knitting and reading. She will be missed dearly by those who knew and loved her.
