I know that my heart aches for you as a parent having to bury a beloved child. I pray that your faith in God keeps you strong thru this unbelievable tragedy. May Austin RIP and watch over you all.

Lord have mercy! I am so humbled and blessed to have known such a fine young man like Austin. He was so very special to my family, I feel like I watched him grow into such a fine young man. He had a smile that could light up any room. I would protect that boy as if he were my own kid. I only wish I could say or do something to change this outcome. All I can say is I am grateful for the time we did have with this special soul who has touched all our hearts. On that note lord please have mercy and bring comfort to his life Family and friends who grip tightly to that amazing memory we all know as “Ausi”!

Austin you are and always will be an amazing young man. We all love you so very much. The world will never be the same. That infectious smile, your laugh, your kindness and love made people drawn to you. I’ll always remember the great times and your memory will live on. To say I was saddened by the news of Austin would be an understatement. I had the privilege of watching Austin grow from a freshman into a respectful young man over his four years at UCT. His ability on the football field was unquestionable but what I always saw was a kid that truly embodied the three staples we tried to instill in each kid we coached. He came everyday worked hard, had a great attitude and was as good a teammate and friend you could ask for. In closing he was the perfect player and teammate, and that is a testament to his parents on how he was raised. You will be missed dearly bud.

I am so saddened by the loss of Austin. I regret that we didn't spend more time together getting to know one another more, even though we are family. The last time we spent any real time together was when we were both kids, but I will always hold those memories dear, always.
