Winslow Allen served with me aboard the USS Tarawa CVS-40 In V-3 Division. On our Project Argus cruise to the S. Atlantic in 1958 he accompanied me to visit my sister 3-4 times that lived on Copocabana Beach where she lived in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil when the ship pulled in there on the way back from detonating 3 a-bombs for scientific research. he was an elevator operator same as me aboard ship. ...
