Obituary of Sharon A. Fowler

Sharon A. Fowler (Carruthers) 66 of Plympton, daughter of Edwin and Sylvia Carruthers, died Tuesday October 5th at home from a lengthy illness.  She was born in Springfield, MA on June 10, 1955.  Sharon was a graduate of Bridgewater State College and was employed by West Bridgwater high school as a media specialist.  She was an avid crafter who loved crocheting, photography and especially cooking.  Sharon is survived by her son Dana L. Fowler Jr, his wife Erin Albert and their daughter Eleanor.  She is also survived by her brothers Philip Carruthers and Ernest Carruthers, her sisters Mary E. Waters and Elizabeth Seitz and her ex spouse Dana L Fowler.  She was predeceased by her brother Todd Carruthers.

There will be memorial visiting hours on October 19th from 4pm to 7pm at Shepherd Funeral Home in Kingston. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Animal Protection Center of Southeastern MA (www.apcsm.org) in Sharon’s name.
