Obituary of Kristin Jean Tupe
Kristin Jean Tupe, 40, of Pembroke (formerly of Duxbury and Braintree), passed away on April 27th 2022, after a courageous battle with Breast Cancer. Raised in Duxbury, Kristin (Long) Tupe attended Notre Dame Academy and Salve Regina University where she met her husband Kiva Tupe. Kristin and Kiva bought their first home in Braintree, where they started a family together. After 9 years in Braintree, they found their forever home in Pembroke in 2020. Kristin worked as a nurse after college and then transitioned to EMD Serono where she was a Drug Safety Scientist for the last 15 years.
Kristin was a shining light in every life she touched. She had a personality and lovingness about her that made everyone feel comfortable. Her bright smile and stunning blue eyes were admired by everyone, and her infectious laugh will never be forgotten. She loved the beach, music, going to concerts, getting her lashes done, and enjoying life with her family and friends. Most of all though, she loved her babies. Some people are born to be mothers, and Kristin was one of them. Her three beautiful children, Vivian (7), Troy (5), and Roman (2), were everything to her and will always remind us of Kristin's vivacious yet gentle spirit.
Beloved daughter of Mary (Chris) Long and the late John Long. Loving wife of Mativa (Kiva) Tupe and adoring mother of Vivian, Troy and Roman. Beloved sister of Allyson Long and her husband Andrew Voght of Kingston and beloved Aunt of Isabelle Long. Beloved daughter-in-law of Fagota Tupe and the late Julia Tupe of Quincy. She is also survived by Katie and Matthew Tupe of Marshfield, Jennifer and Michael Tupe of Quincy, Malia Tupe and Jared Fudge of Braintree, and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and dear friends.
Friends and family will gather for visiting hours on Thursday, May 5th, from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at Shepherd Funeral Home, 216 Main Street in Kingston, MA 02364. A funeral mass will be held on Friday, May 6th, at 10:00am in Holy Family Church, 601 Tremont St, Duxbury, MA 02332. In lieu of flowers, Kristin requested that donations be made to the Ellie Fund (https://www.elliefund.org), to support families who are fighting Breast Cancer.
In Loving Memory
