She was born in Plymouth, MA in 1932 to her late parents Secondo and Medea Monti of Plymouth graduated from Plymouth High School and worked at the Cordage Rope Factory performing tests for quality control. She raised a family and loved to entertain many pool parties to whomever showed up. Clambakes were the house specialty with a game of bocce on the side. She was a member of Mayflower Congregational Church in Kingston and enjoyed singing in the choir. Because singing was her passion, she joined the Mayflower Sweet Adeline’s of Plymouth for over 30 years competing successfully in a quartet and chorus along with handling costume design and director of makeup. She loved to be outside at all times either jogging through town or finding therapy in gardening. When the yard work got to be too much and the house too big, she moved to favorite place in the world, Naples , FL. For 15 years she was blessed to witness many beautiful sunsets shared with dear friends and family.
