Obituary of Nadene A. Zlogar

Nadene A. Zlogar, 70, of Kingston, a breast cancer survivor, passed away at home on June 12, 2022 after a long illness. Nadene is survived by her beloved husband and best friend of 48 years, Joseph Zlogar. A devoted and loving mother to her three boys; Jason Zlogar and his wife Brenda, Aaron Zlogar and his wife Alissa and the late Nathan Zlogar. Cherished grandmother to Aaron and Austin.

Nadene was born in Quincy to Natale and Leia Casna on April 3, 1952. She is a graduate of Braintree High School, class of 1970. She went on to earn a BA in education from Bridgewater State College.

Nadene was a 6th grade teacher in Halifax and a preschool teacher at the Berrybrook school. She enjoyed crafting, gardening, decorating, and was a Cub Scout Den Mother. She was also an advocate for Special Needs students.

Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, June 16th from 4-8:00 PM at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 216 Main St. (Rt. 106) Kingston. 
A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 17th at 10:00 am at the Funeral Home. 
Graveside services to follow at Mt. Wollaston cemetery in Quincy.
