Obituary of Christopher M Finn
Christopher M Finn of Plymouth, formerly of Kingston and Halifax, died unexpectedly on November 20, 2022 while on a Family Vacation in St. John, VI . Chris was 57 years old. He leaves behind his wife and best friend of 32 years, Deborah (Praskiewicz) Finn and his children , Victoria (Finn) and Ryan Holman of Plymouth, Patrick and Emma (Nagle) Finn of Pocasset , and Daniel Finn and Hannah Buschner of Boston. Chris' sister Melissa (Finn)Boyd and Tom Boyd, and predeceased brother, Gregory Finn. Chris will be greatly missed by our Forever friends , extended family and many nieces and nephews. Chris also leaves behind his dog and co-pilot Sunny and cat Rosie.
Chris was born in Boston to Henry and Suzanne (Lewis) Finn. He was raised in Halifax, MA and attended Silver Lake Regional High School.
In 1982 , Chris and Deb met, Junior year, and thus started their 40 years of love and friendship. Chris and Deb married in 1990, and after a few years living in Halifax, built a home in Kingston where they raised their 3 amazing children.
Chris enjoyed watching his children grow, play sports and thrive.
Chris retired after a 30 year career with Verizon, where many coworkers became lifelong friends.
Chris loved his family and enjoyed taking us on many vacations and adventures. He loved to travel and learn the history of destinations. . He mostly loved just spending time with his family.
Chris loved the ocean! He enjoyed just watching the waves, walking on the beach looking for sea glass for Deb , fishing, and boating.
Chris and Pat had just purchased their first boat together - recently christened "Finns Up", which will provide good memories for all of us going forward.
He will be greatly missed by so many, but will live on in our hearts.
Family and friends are invited for visitation to Shepherd's Funeral Home in Kingston on Friday, December 2nd 3pm-7pm 216 Main Street Kingston, MA Celebration of Life Mass at 11am at St Joseph's Parish , Kingston ,272 Main Street Kingston on Saturday December 3rd, followed by Burial at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Kingston.
In lieu of flowers, make a donation to a favorite charity in Chris' name or just do something everyday to make someone smile or laugh
