The last photo I took of Dannie, December 13, 2022 around 1:30 in the afternoon, at Shattuck Hospital in room 610. There was something different about her that day, she opened her eyes a bunch of times, I think she knew I was there as I was holding her hand. She seemed to be at peace. Dannie would pass away the next day Wednesday, December 14th at 12:30 in the afternoon. I found a small picture book she had, she wrote in it the date when we first met, Saturday October 8, 1983. We got married September 6, 1986, 36 years. The time went by so fast. I miss her so much !!!! Love Steve
Dannie was the kindest, strongest person I ever met. She was through a lot in her life and learned to deal with it, she never complained. Simple things made her happy, she never asked for much.
