Obituary of Marian C. Billings

Marian Christine Billings, “Muffy”, 81, passed away peacefully on December 18, 2022 at her home in Kingston, MA.  She was born on February 1, 1941 in Plymouth, MA, the daughter of the late Raymond and Elizabeth Brock of Kingston.

In addition to her parents, Muffy was predeceased by her brother, Raymond Brock “Key” of Kingston.  She is survived by her beloved husband of 44 years, David Billings, her son Scott Anderson and his partner Brian, her daughter Kristen Nolan and her husband Kieran, her daughter Karen Mcloud and her husband John, her son Robert Billings and her most treasured grandchildren, Joseph Nolan, Kailey Mcloud, Ryan Mcloud, Alison Nolan, Caitlin Nolan and Dawson Billings.  Muffy is also survived by her nieces, Deborah Brock, Dina Furlong, the late David Brock, and many life long friends.  

Muffy was raised in Kingston and graduated from Kingston High School, Class of 1959.  She was quite the socialite in high school, where she excelled in sports serving as the center for girls basketball and field hockey.  She later went on to work as the Activities Coordinator at Wingate at Silver Lake Nursing Home in Kingston, and retired in 2003.

Muffy enjoyed spending many weekends with her husband David at their vacation home in Grafton, New Hampshire.  She enjoyed playing dominos with her girlfriends, and loved to sew. She especially loved spending time with her family at summer cookouts, birthdays, and during the holidays.

A funeral mass will be held at St. Joseph’s Church, 272 Main Street, Kingston on Tuesday, December 27 at 10:00am.
