Obituary of Daniel G. Duggan

Daniel G. Duggan, age 65,  of Duxbury, MA, passed away on December 28 after a short battle with cancer.  He is survived by his loving wife Kathie (Donahue), and his siblings Kathleen Duggan of Duxbury MA, Joe Duggan of Hopkinton MA, and Mimi Duggan of South Weymouth MA, as well as many in-laws, and two generations of nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by his parents Grace A. (McGillicuddy) and Joseph G. Duggan.  Dan was a graduate of Braintree High School, Blue Hills Vo-Tech, and Massasoit Community College.  He had recently retired after a long and proud career as Lieutenant with the Brockton Fire Department. Danny was a man of few words but had a huge heart and a dry sense of humor, and will be sorely missed by his friends and family.  A celebration of his life will be held at the Shepherd Funeral Home at 216 Main Street in Kingston MAon Monday Jan 9, from 5 to 7 pm.  In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to a worthy charity.
