Obituary of Margaret Burnham

Margaret Burnham (Peggy) of Kingston passed away on April 16, 2023, she was 85. The loving mother of her three children; Philip, Pamela (Ganley) and Marjorie (Karas). She was also the loving Nana of seven grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband Philip and her parents, Mary R. and Lawrence M. Duggan and a sister Rose M. Duggan. She is survived by her brothers Frank, Lawrence and James Duggan.
Peggy graduated from Holbrook High School In 1955, and attended Northeastern University. She worked at the Armstrong Cork Company, Wright's Greenhouses, and she worked for Weight Watchers for 44 years. She was a devout catholic and a member of St. Joseph's Church. She was the treasurer of the Evergreen Cemetery Association and Cookie chairman for the Kingston Girl Scouts. Peggy enjoyed spending time with her family, grandchildren, friends and traveling and she would never say no to a trip to the beach.
Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, April 20th from 4-7:00 PM at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 216 Main St (Rt. 106) Kingston. A funeral mass will be held on Friday, April 21st, at St. Joseph church, 272 Main St, Kingston at 10:00 AM. Graveside services will follow at Evergreen cemetery in Kingston.
