Obituary of Jeffrey A. Brandel
Born December 26, 1958 in Auburn California, one of six children. He resided in Michigan most of his life until he met the love of his life and married 15 years ago and then made his home in Plymouth. He was active in the marine corps for 12 years with various awards and becoming staff sergeant. He later took various machine repair jobs, there wasn’t anything he couldn't fix. In his earlier years he loved riding his Harley Davidson and later enjoyed fishing and going to the beach with his wife. He loved to garden but his most favorite was cooking and he loved cooking for others and seeing them enjoy it. He was a kind, gentle soul and loving and touched so many lives, you were blessed to have known him.
He leaves behind his wife and best friend, Laura (Landry) Brandel of 15 years of Plymouth, his son Aaron Landry of Plymouth and his girlfriend Avery Daly of Plymouth; whom Jeff adored.
He also leaves behind three daughters all from Michigan, Amanda Siwecki and her partner Ed Gascicki, Ashley Brandel, and Amber (Brandel) Dykman and her husband Cameron Dykman. He also leaves his mother Victoria Brandel of Michigan. In addition to his mother, he leaves three brothers all from Michigan; Henry Brandel and his wife Linda Brandel, Fred Brandel and his wife Sandy Brandel, and Roger Brandel and his partner Kris Stepke. He also leaves behind 4 granddaughters; Addison, Payton, Paisley, and Aubrey and another grandchild on the way. In addition he leaves two sister and brother in laws; Susan Ohannessian of Carver and her husband Mark Ohannessian, and Cathy (Landry) Souza of Carver and her husband Paul Souza. Jeff’s father in law James Landry of Wareham will miss him as well as their fishing trips together. I am sure Jeff is flying high with the angels with his beloved puppy Casey Marie. He had a lengthy illness but gave a good fight up until he took his last breath on April 15. He was surrounded by his wife and son and loved ones. He was predeceased by his father, Henry Brandel, and two of his brothers, Jonathan Brandel and Larry Brandel of Michigan. And of course, his puppy Casey who was a daddy’s girl and he missed her terribly.
Services for Jeffrey will be held at the Shepherd Funeral Home located at 116 Main St. Carver, Ma on Saturday, April 29 from 1 to 3pm.
In Loving Memory
