Brenda C. (Frazier) Recupero, 83, formerly of Kingston and Duxbury, passed away peacefully on May 17, 2023.

She was the beloved wife of the late Dr. Salvatore J. Recupero.  Brenda was born on June 27, 1939 in Weymouth, Massachusetts to the late John and Gladys (Rutledge) Frazier.  She grew up in Braintree, Massachusetts and was a graduate of Archbishop Williams High School.  In her younger years, she worked at Bethlehem Steel and later on enjoyed working as a home health aide.

She was introduced to the love of her life and future husband, Sal, by her brother Fred. They were married in 1961 and built their home in Duxbury together where they shared many happy years and raised their children.  Brenda was an active parishioner of Holy Family Church and St. Joseph’s Parish where she participated in the Rosary Ministry and led Bible studies. She will be remembered as a loving mother, cherished grandmother and wonderful friend. She was so proud of her children, adored by her grandchildren, and was happiest when surrounded by them and her granddogs.

She is survived by her sons, Gregory Recupero and his wife Sheryl of Marshfield, MA, Christopher Recupero and his wife Margareta of Beverly Hills, CA, and Brendan Recupero and his wife Laura of Norwell, MA. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Joshua Recupero and his wife Christine of Plymouth, MA, Kyle Recupero and his fiancé Mary of Salem, MA, Noah Recupero of Marshfield, MA, Aleksandra Recupero of New York, NY, Thomas and Matthew Recupero of Beverly Hills, CA, and Sophia and Olivia Recupero of Norwell, MA, as well as two great grandchildren, Joshua and Jacob.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 216 Main Street, Kingston, MA on May 23, 2023 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. A funeral Mass will follow at Saint Joseph’s Church, 272 Main Street, Kingston, MA at 1:00 p.m.  Interment will follow at Mayflower Cemetery, Duxbury.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimers Association at www.alz.org.
