As I think of all the blessings in my life I think of my childhood and how this wonderful Wager family embraced me in their family life. The memories are countless and vivid in my mind. Everyone has a friend during each stage of their life. But it’s only lucky ones that have the same friend in all their stages of their life. Mary & Pop’s daughter Michele is that person.
The Saturday afternoons, Wise Potato Chips, Tuna fish sandwiches and pineapple squares/icebox cookies. You see, Mary was a fantastic baker. My childhood will be embedded in my mind as happy times with a lot of laughs at the Wager house on May Ave.
As I think of Mary & Pop it's with tears of gratitude and appreciation. For they brought three exceptional children into this world Michele, Maureen & Michael and how they welcomed everyone in.
For I will always love the Wager Family very much. ‘
