Obituary of Alice Marie Peters

Alice Marie Peters, 92, passed away peacefully on July 25, 2023. She was preceded in death by her husband Williams James Peters. She is survived by her loving children, Susan Peters, Kelly Macdonald, William Peters, Gregory Peters, Julia Correira, Clifford Peters. Alice is also survived by her siblings, Dolly Stevens, Judith Dodd, and Edward Curley. Deceased siblings are John Walter Parker, Harold "Sonny" Parker, Richard "Dicky" Parker, and Alan Parker. 
Her loving grandchildren, Jordan, Jimmy, Jarred, Billy, Jessie,  Kelley, Lochlainn, Jason, Stefan, Justin,  Phoebe, Dylan, GJ, Lexi and Mackenzie.
She was also a great-grandmother to 17, she always looked forward to weekly visits and outings with her great grand daughter Savannah.

Alice grew up in Watertown where she attended  catholic school as a child. She worked for the telephone company after highschool before getting married and starting a family. She moved to Carver with her husband and family in 1974, and resided there until her passing. She loved the outdoors including gardening flowers and vegetables, sewing, making clothes including dolls clothes for her kids, holiday decorating for every holiday...every holiday  Reading was also a big passion of hers, and there was always an Agatha Christie book to be found on a table.
Alice was known by family as always having a cup of tea, and offering tea to anyone. She was know to everyone as Nan as she was everyone's grandmother. Her legendary apple pie and banana bread kept all in her good graces.
 She will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved her. 

Visiting hours will be held at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 116 Main St, Carver on Thursday, August 3rd from 4:00 to 7:00pm. A funeral mass will be held Friday, August 4th at 10:30am at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Carver. Interment will directly follow at Central Cemetery Carver.
