I first met Chris when we were Juniors at the American School in London back in 1974. Although we were only friends for two years in high school, we kept in touch over the years, as did the very close group of friends we made at ASL. As we all moved around so much, we made friends easily, & Chris was so very easy to make friends with! He had such a keen sense of humor, & was very inquisitive & intelligent. He also knew how to have fun, which we all had a lot of during our formative years in London! The photo below is his Senior year photo……
I saw him a couple of times after moving to Florida, because my family lives near his parents in Stuart. When we got together, we never stopped talking - it was like we’d seen each other yesterday….that’s just the way Chris was….easy to be with.
His strength & tenacity during his battle over the last year or so, was inspiring - a truly great man, who loved his family so much. I will miss him. I wish his family love & peace as they grieve the loss of this wonderful man.
