Susan was my neighbor when I was having my third and fourth babies and what an incredible support she was! She would show up around 5:30 and help hold or console a child while I attempted to make dinner! Of course, there was always wine and oh so much laughter! Susan also put up with my husband, Wes, often playing jokes on her, knowing how particular she was about her property! I think she secretly enjoyed his humor and I know Wes enjoyed her quick wit and oh so precise opinions! We will miss Susan and send our love to Kevin and Amanda and all of the extended family.
With love,
Sue Horton

Well, Susan was a character! She called me about doing some work for her. I had heard she was tough to work for and she had gone through most of the contractors in town. I stuttered and was unsure what to say. She interjected that she was a pain in the a** to work for and that I was free to leave if I wasn't happy working for her! It took me 4 hours to hang 4 shutters on her garden shed while she stood there telling me up, down, over to the left, more to the right etc... I realized she wasn't difficult, just a perfectionist with a great eye!
Just good enough wasn't good enough for her, she demanded perfection! She was much easier to work for than customers who had no idea of what they wanted. She was an interesting person who will be missed!

We send our deepest condolences to Kevin, Amanda, Robbie, Diane, and their families on Susan's passing. Susan was a middle school playmate of Nancy's. We had lots of fun playing together with Becka, Diddle, Deebo, and Lumpy. Susan wore thick braids, and we goofed around at Shipyard Lane. We also enjoyed getting sacks of penny candy from Marlena's in Hall's Corner in anticipation of sleepovers, especially at the Eaton's playhouse. We'd run through the streets, after the sidewalks rolled up at nine, on those soft summer nights. We'd jump into bushes to avoid the occasional police car doing its rounds. We thought we were living so dangerously. The Chadwick and Aigler families were close since the 1950's in Duxbury. Susan had an easy laugh, loved her family, was creative and fun to be around. After Susan and Kevin bought their house on Washington Street from the Lorings, we rented it for a month in the summer before we moved back to town. Susan would sit outside every day on the grass, staring at the house, and writing notes and making sketches. She was envisioning the huge remodeling job she and Kevin would do. I knew the "new" house would be awesome, and it was. Susan had an incredible attention to detail. We are sorry she has passed at an early age, in this chapter of life, and she will be missed by many.
With wishes of peace in our hearts for Susan,
Sincerely,
Nancy and Teddy Chadwick

I’m so happy that we ran into Kevin and Susan at Haddads a couple of weeks before we left for FL.
Her tribute is lovely and reminiscent of the Susan
we knew, as close neighbors.
One GREAT memory is their strawberries and champagne, post Fourth of July party. Clever and
SO Susan.
