I have nothing but good memories of my buddy Walter, the Gator. Almost always upbeat, but also smart and practical. We shared a $100 a month apartment on Hano St, Brighton, Ma. for a while, always a great time. He up and joined the Navy while I was away and left the apartment somewhat trashed after a going away party, but I remember laughing about it, since I was moving out anyway. I always enjoyed him as a steady friend. Wish I had been able to do more for him in his last hard years. He was so strong about his health issues, I always wondered if I could face tough times as well as he did. I will miss him.
It's challenging to find the right words during moments of grief, but please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you. Walter holds a special place in my heart, and the memories we shared many years ago are still vivid and cherished. Those moments were filled with laughter, camaraderie, and the unique bond that time cannot diminish.
The stories we created together, the experiences we shared, and the laughter that echoed through our conversations will forever be engraved in my heart.

Walter - Gator - Levenson was one of my oldest friends, I don't have anything but good memories. We shared an apartment on Hano St, Brighton, Ma. for a while, lots of good times. I do remember going away for a brief trip to Virginia Beach. Walter decided to join the Navy while I was gone, and had some kind of blow out party in the apartment (a $100 a month dump). I got back to the remains, but I laughed since I was ready to move out anyway. He was something, a mix of positive attitude, intelligence, and practical thinking. Never can remember him doing anything bad. How he dealt with the health problems as well as he did, I will never know. Miss you buddy, sorry I can't be there Monday to send you off.
