To the family of James Dinneen, I learned of James's death from my childhood friend, Bobbe Colson Smith. The Dinneens and Colsons were neighbors of my family on Orchard St. in Jamaica Plain until 1950. I was deeply saddened to learn of his death, and extend my sympathy and prayers to his family. My heartfelt condolences to Judy and all the boys and grandchildren. Jim and I worked together in Town Government for many years and he was never conflicted about doing what was best for Duxbury. I liked to kid him about his Kennedy 1964 tie clasp that he wore to every finance committee meeting. While we sometimes differed politically, the debate never grew rancorous. I am sure Jim brought that same demeanor with him to the bench. I am impoverished by his passing but will always hold him in high regard and cherish my memories of him. Pax Christi Jim!

Judy- My sister, Nicki, who used to live in Duxbury, just sent me word that Jim had passed. I am so sorry. I never had the pleasure of knowing him and itt sounds like he was an amazing person, which doesn't surprise me as he was married to an amazing woman. All my best to you and your family.
