Obituary of Sandi L. Tucker

Sandi L. (Kerr) Tucker, age 81 of Carver, MA passed away unexpectedly on December 22, 2023. Born July 10, 1942, daughter of the late Dorothy (Eddy) Kerr and Michael Kerr.

Sandi was the sister to the late Barbara Bledsoe of Kansas and Donna Goldman of Quincy. Sandi leaves behind her daughters Cindi Tucker of Attleboro and Kristin Fortier and her husband Marc of Norwell; three grandchildren, Erin, Matthew, and Nolan; the love of her life Joseph Armstrong of Carver, nieces, nephews and many, many friends

Sandi grew up in Roslindale, MA and graduated Roslindale High School in 1960. She was a lifetime member of Tremont Temple Baptist Church in Boston. Sandi loved life and took full advantage of all it had to offer. Before settling down, she traveled the world with her friend Peggy. After falling in love with Hawaii, she and Peggy learned the Hula and came back to become the original Salt and Pepper Hula dancers, traveling to local restaurants with their band Hawaii Five-0. Sandi moved to Carver in 1976, raising her family with her husband David. No matter who she came in contact with in her daily life, she had a smile on her face and was one of the happiest people you would ever meet.

Whether you knew her from her many years at Cabaret in Hingham, Dr. Karr's office, selling Avon, country line dancing or working the polls on election day, she brightened your day. She will be sorely missed by all.

Visiting hours will be held at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 116 Main St., Carver on Friday, December 29 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held Saturday, December 30 at 10 a.m. at Shepherd's followed by burial at Lakenham Cemetery in Carver.
