Lynne and I had a lovely friendship at one time. Once when I told her something mean that someone said to me tears jumped in her eyes, she was emphatic that I get her overflow of greeting cards and, the one that touches my heart so vividly, when the auctioneer insisted upon calling me "Crazy Ruthy" and I told him I was sensitive about that, Lynne pulled her self up to her full height and said "Stop that!" I so miss the Lynne I used to know but I am grateful for the time and affection we once shared and to have witnessed the love, support and patience of her family and friends around her. It is a loss to us all.
