Yes a childhood memory never forgotten, trips to Brockton with Paul driving Mémère Proulx’s car hitting the Flying Yankee on the way. Aunt Doris treated us like her own at these visits.
As years went on Mom would mention the phone chats they would have. I’m happy the 2 of you had each other to lean on.
After Mom passed , Aunt Doris had many things to say to reassure us that Mom was very proud of us! Always so positive !
We are truly sorry of the passing of this wonderiful splash of life.
Condolences to the entire Dehay and Proulx families!
Love to all from Maine
Jeff Lisa & Chase Trudeau!

Doris Theresa Proulx DeHay was born July 5, 1939 and grew up in Southbridge the 2nd daughter of Harry & Louise (Marie Louise Donais) Proulx. She graduated from Notre Dame HS '58 and worked at the American Optical inspection area for many years before getting married and moving to Brockton, MA. Her sisters are: June (Proulx) Trudeau who past in 2016, Susanne (Proulx) Shumay of Richmond, VA and Diane Proulx Perry of Dudley, MA. Doris was one unique gal with the ultimate dedication to all she did. She will be dearly missed. She loved flowers, birds and ultimately her family.

Mom, the strongest, most beautiful person I know. You filled my life with so much love, compassion, and laughter. What an amazing gift I was given to have you as my mom. I owe everything I am to you. You will be missed beyond measure, by my side I know you will always be. Rest easy Mom

I love the family gatherings in Brockton around the pool, great times. Aunt Doris you were the ultimate hostess. I always felt welcomed.
I remember when I was on the road with the company I worked for and I posted my travels on FB you always posted words of support, encouragement and love.
It was great to see you and Roger when Kim & I visited on our way to the Cape. We felt right at home!
You will be missed...
Love you,
Mike & Kim Trudeau

My sister was the foundation for so much of what I am today, God Bless her and so happy she is safe and out of pain at this time, she did not deserve all the pain she endured. RIP Dot!
